Manchester '86
Some really good friends of mine held an exhibition in Johannesburg called The Bright Night Project. It was 'an exhibition in the dark' I was lucky enough to be asked to take part alongside some of the top photographers and illustrators in South Africa.
The pieces were lit by Little Sun, solar powered lamps with the mission to get clean, reliable, affordable light to the 1.1 billion people worldwide without access to electricity.

The theme for the exhibition was 'Light', and my piece was loosely based on The Smiths - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out and features some elements like the Salford Lad's Club - the location the original 1986 music video is centred around.
